Thoughtful Psychiatry for Modern Life
I provide integrative psychiatric care for adults navigating anxiety, mood disorders,
life transitions, and professional stress —
grounded in clarity, depth, and discretion.
Anxiety & OCD
Persistent worry, overthinking, and intrusive or repetitive patterns that can be difficult to quiet.
Areas of Focus
I work with adults navigating concerns such as the following:
Mood Disorders
Depression, mood variability, and difficulty feeling steady, engaged, or like themselves.
Trauma & Stress
The lasting effects of difficult experiences — whether recent or longstanding — on how you feel, relate, and move through the world.
Life Transitions
Periods of change involving work, relationships, identity, or direction that often bring uncertainty or overwhelm.
My Approach
I practice psychiatry with an emphasis on careful listening, thoughtful evaluation, and a genuine curiosity about what shapes each person’s emotional life.
I consider not only symptoms, but also relationships, personal history, patterns of thinking, and the broader context in which a person lives.
Treatment may include psychotherapy, medication management, or an integration of both. It often takes more than medication alone to achieve lasting and meaningful improvement.
At the same time, I do not hesitate to recommend medication when I believe it may help. Medication can relieve suffering and make other aspects of care — such as therapy and lifestyle changes — more accessible.
We will review options together so you can make informed decisions about your treatment.
When appropriate, I also attend to the foundations of emotional well-being — including sleep, nutrition, physical activity, and sustainable daily habits.
My aim is to create a calm, collaborative space where patients feel understood and supported as they move toward meaningful, lasting change.
What to Expect
We begin with an initial consultation — a time for you to share what’s been going on, and for me to get to know you more fully. I’ll ask questions, make observations, and offer my initial sense of what may be helpful.
This first meeting is also an opportunity for you to experience what it feels like to work together, and to determine whether it feels like a good fit.
Treatment may include psychotherapy, medication management, or a combination of both, depending on your needs and preferences.
Some people come in with clear goals, while others are still figuring things out — both are completely welcome.
Over time, our work is collaborative and individualized, with an emphasis on thoughtful, consistent care and space to reflect, adjust, and move at a pace that feels manageable.
Fees & Insurance
I offer a private-pay model of care, which allows for a more flexible, thoughtful, and individualized approach to treatment.
Rather than being limited by insurance requirements, this model allows us to focus on what is most clinically meaningful — including session length, frequency, and integration of psychotherapy and medication management.
I am currently in-network with Mount Sinai’s UMR plan and may offer limited additional in-network availability.
For patients with out-of-network benefits, I provide documentation that can be submitted for reimbursement. Many plans offer partial reimbursement for psychiatric services.
I am happy to discuss options and help you determine what may be the best fit for your care.
